"Ok this may look like we are a group of hungry people . But this is our hang out place. Importing Italian gourmet products - food is fresh, with good quality ingredients & of course tasty! A gourmet shop right next to the restaurant - you find delicious biscuits / pasta /sauces. Always good to find time to reserve for a table. Owner Matteo is a great host with Ryan at top speed attending to your needs. We love it here at Bella Ciao & thank you Matteo for treating us like family ."

"We go out of our way from Central to eat at Matteo’s Bella Ciao Restaurant. The food is authentic, the service is warm & genuine AND it’s just a few steps away from the beach. Definitely try their meatballs or the Cacio e pepe pasta so yummy!! Highly recommend!"

"Tucked along S. Lantau Road, BELLA CIAO is a little Italian gem that truly delivers on authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and warm, friendly service. The star of the show? The Panzerotti – a crispy, golden delight with a delicate, deep-fried exterior. The Napoli filling, packed with tomato, mozzarella, anchovies, and capers, is absolutely divine and a serious must-try. The Linguine Alle Vongole hits the perfect balance of rich and bright, with fresh clams stealing the spotlight. For starters, the Calamari Fritti sets the tone beautifully – crispy, light, and oh-so-satisfying. And let’s not forget the Matteo pizza, loaded with Italian sausage and gooey mozzarella. Apparently, it's named after the owner (how cool is that?), and it lives up to the hype! The Triangolo Al Cinghiale (wild boar ravioli), while tasty, doesn't quite have the wow factor of the other stars on the menu. As for drinks, the Negroni is highly recommended – a perfect way to cap off the meal or just sip as you soak in the relaxed vibe of this cozy spot."

The staff is super friendly and the meal experience is close to what you get in Italy: there is time for conversations and no one is rushing you through your meal. Must go!"

"Absolutely loved everything here. We ordered the spaghetti vongole, deep fried calamari, kale salad and pizza. Every dish was amazing with authentic Italian flavours. We chose the outdoor seating so we can enjoy the natural breeze and the tranquility of the neighbourhood. Its the perfect place for us to relax after a whole day at the beach."

"Absolutely loved my lunch at Bella Ciao! It’s super easy to find, right on the main road, yet it feels peaceful without the usual noise and traffic. The service was fantastic, and the food was simply amazing—definitely worth the visit for their delicious pizzas and pasta! "Really delicious food! I loved how generous the portion size was along with the authenticity and balanced taste. The calamari tasted fresh and crispy with the mayonnaise and chilli slices. The pesto pasta was not too overbearing with flavour and had the right amount of cheese. The anchovies pizza was the perfect level of saltiness. Despite eating quite a lot, I felt light and refreshed due to the high quality of ingredients used. The restaurant workers (one of them was Italian) were also super friendly and I saw them striking conversations with the other diners. Generally very good vibes from this restaurant !"
